Children's activities (4 days: from 24 to 27 July)
- All activities will be conducted in International Sign (IS) and French Sign Language (LSF)
- Children will be under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals.
- All tours depart from and return to the Congress Centre
- Transportation and meals are included
A not-to-be-missed monument and symbol of the capital, the Eiffel Tower stands 324 m tall, and weighs 10,100 tons. Created in 2 years, 2 months and 5 days, it was built for the Exposition Universelle of 1889.
You will go up to the second floor by the stairs.
Institut National des Jeunes Sourds de Paris (INJS)
Discover the first public school for the deaf in the 18th century. we can discover paintings, sculptures, books, furniture, photos, rooms, the statue of the Abbot of L'Epée. We can also see where grew up Laurent Clerc, Ferdinand Berthier, Claudius Forestier, Abbot of the Sword, Jean Massieu, Roch-Ambroise Auguste Bébian, Abbot Sicard ...
Evasion Verte is the only tree climbing adventure park in Paris. It is located at the heart of the Parc Floral de Paris, a short walk from Château de vincennes.
It offers 60 challenges across 4 courses (1.5m to 12m high) including suspension bridges, tightropes, barrel bridges, zip-wires and other kinds of swings.
Paris Miniature gives you the chance to discover the different regions of France. Like a giant, you can stride around the Eiffel Tower, Vaux le Vicomte, St Tropez, Mont St Michel, the amphitheatre at Arles, the basilica of Lourdes, and many more.
Cité des Sciences
For the greater enjoyment of children, the "Cité des Enfants" offers two exhibitions to learn while playing. The exhibitions are animated by deaf mediators who provide visits and entertainment in French Sign Language, in International Sign Language.
Palais de la Découverte
The Palais de la découverte presents fundamental and contemporary science in a dynamic way in the form of interactive experiments explained by scientists.
Château de Versailles
Together with its gardens, the Château de Versailles is one of the most famous monuments of world heritage. The buildings trace the architectural style of the 17th and 18th centuries and comprise: the Royal Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors, the Chapel, the Royal Opera and the Museum of the History of France. The Park is decorated with statues, fountains, water parterres and outstanding buildings such as the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon, the Temple de l'Amour and the Hamlet of Queen Marie-Antoinette.
